Terms of Service

By installing or using gitby you agree to these terms. gitby is a tool for coordinating work in shared git repositories — file claims, notes, presence, and access requests. It sits alongside git and GitHub; it does not replace them.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe. You must be able to enter a binding agreement to use gitby.

Don't use gitby to break the law, disrupt the service, or access data that isn't yours. We may suspend accounts that do.

Paid plans are billed per team, not per seat. Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can change or cancel a plan at any time from your team's billing page.

Your code stays in git and on GitHub. gitby stores only the coordination data it needs to work. See the Privacy Policy for details.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continued use means you accept them.
